If there's one thing we love to see, it's a reality dating show romance. Unfortunately, things don't always work out for the singles looking for love on TV, but what about off screen?

Well, in a surprising turn of events, two of our favourite reality TV worlds have collided, with an ex Love Islander and a Married At First Sight Australia star revealing they're in a relationship. Who'd have thought it?

Speaking on Love Island Extra (an Instagram Live series with showbiz presenter Simon Gross), Tom Powell from the 2016 season of Love Island confirmed the relationship. When asked who the love of his life was, Tom answered "Well I'm dating someone off Married At First Sight."

So who is the MAFSA star in question?

"Tamara" Tom revealed, adding "She's flown over from Australia. She's been here for a month, six weeks now."

After the interview, Tom shared a photo of the pair along with his friends on his Instagram. "I wouldn’t change them for the world ❤️" he captioned the photo.

A few weeks earlier, Tamara also hinted that she was dating someone new. Speaking to The Sun, Tamara said: "I am dating someone, it's going well but I am going to keep that to myself. It is quite fresh, you’ll have to just wait and see."

When asked about the move from Australia to be with her new boyfriend, she admitted "I definitely want to be here [UK] long-term."

Tamara appeared on the sixth season of MAFSA, which was filmed three years ago but only aired in the UK earlier this year. Tamara was married to Dan Webb but things between the pair broke down after he cheated on her with costar Jessika Power.
