Everything you need to know about Love Island Australia's Teddy Briggs

Love Island Australia season 1 contestant Teddy Briggs might not have made it to the final, but he is still a winner in viewers' eyes. Despite putting in some hard graft with the girls in the villa, Teddy ended up coupling up with friend Mac and leaving Spain alone just a few days before the final.

But has he had more luck in the love department since leaving the show? Here's what Teddy's up to now:

Judging by his Instagram account, he's currently single and it's not clear if he's been in a relationship since his time on the show. As for work, the reality star revealed he almost ended up completely broke after leaving Love Island.

"I lived the party life a bit. I did a three-month nightclub tour of Australia where I was doing nightclub appearances three nights a week," he told Daily Mail Australia earlier his year.

But the work quickly dried up and he "basically ended up nearly broke at one point".

"It dries up quite quickly, and then all of a sudden three months later no one cares about Love Island season one anymore, you've spent all your money, you've got credit card debt and I found myself looking for jobs basically," he added to Australian mag Now to Love.

However, he now runs his own e-commerce store and is a lot more comfortable, which probably explains all the flashy cars and private jets that have popped up on his Instagram grid.

Teddy became one of the most talked about Love Island contestants when he broke down in the Beach Hut as he revealed he was bullied growing up after the contestants played a game of home truths.

"I want to give Teddy a biiiggggg cuddle #LoveIslandAUS," one viewer wrote, while a second shared, "My heart just broke listening to Teddy #LoveIslandAUS."

A third shared, "Teddy is bar far the most genuine lad in there. Why couldn’t he find love pls. Someone tell me he’s now found the one #loveislandaus #teddybriggs."

Here's hoping he finds his perfect partner soon.
