Everything you need to know about Cursed season 2 on Netflix

From Cosmopolitan

Netflix series Cursed has been the fantasy show of our dreams, and if you're as hooked on it as us, then you're probably wondering if and when we can expect a season two. Starring Katherine Langford of 13 Reasons Why fame and also a handful of newcomers, including Devon Terrell who plays Arthur, the show is a refreshing twist on the well-known Arthurian legend.

So, here's everything you need to know about Cursed season two. Be warned: spoilers ahead.

Will there be a season 2 of Cursed?

Netflix hasn't officially announced a Cursed season two yet, but if they are planning on it then we should hear around mid to late August, as Netflix usually take about a month to make any announcements on the future of their original series.

When will Cursed season 2 be released?

If Netflix do end up confirming Cursed for a second series, then we can expect the show to air around mid-2021 at the earliest, as long as there aren't any delays to production.

Who will be in the Cursed season 2 cast?

Assuming the cast remains the same (and the following characters survive into season two) then we can expect to see Devon Terrell return as Arthur, Gustav Skarsgård as Merlin, Daniel Sharman as the Weeping Monk/Lancelot, and Billy Jenkins as Squirrel/Percival.

However, the same can't be said for other members of the cast. Unless season two includes any flashback scenes, it doesn't look like Peter Mullan will be returning to the show, after his character Father Carden was murdered in the season one finale.

Katherine Langford, who plays Nimue, is also uncertain, with her lead character's fate left hanging in the balance at the end of the first season. However, we're pretty confident she'll make a reappearance, especially given the fact that Nimue narrates the whole show in the past tense.

What will Cursed season 2 be about?

The plot of the next series of Cursed seems uncertain, as season one ended on such a cliffhanger. The first season finale ended with Nimue falling from a bridge into the river below, with Merlin managing to kill off the Red Paladins.

Plus, in a huge plot twist, the Weeping Monk was revealed to actually be Lancelot, while Squirrel turned out to be Percival, with both of them becoming Knights of the Round Table, meaning we can expect to see more from them in season two.

However, with the first season based on the book by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler, there isn't a second book to draw from for season two, so what happens next will be anyone's guess.

When will the Cursed season 2 trailer come out?

Production hasn't yet started on a season two of Cursed, so we'll have to hang fire for a trailer. But in the meantime, you'll catch us watching the whole season all over again.
