Want some cheap summer wardrobe additions? Almost everything at this fashion retailer is just £5
If you've never heard of the online fashion retailer Everything5Pounds and love a bargain, you're in for a treat.
Since launching in 2010, the site has become known for its budget clothing in the UK. It offers everything from womenswear, shoes, bags, menswear, childrenswear and even beauty.
While over a decade ago prices on the site were all £5, as the name suggests, inflation has got the affordable site slightly, so you'll now find that most clothing is around £5.25 to £5.95 (which is still so cheap we can't quibble). However, we actually still spied loads of stuff that's less than £5.
If you think it's too good to be true, the site has over a million registered customers and has accumulated over 97,000 Trust Pilot reviews, with a 4.5 star average rating. In fact, 76% of customers have given the site a full five-stars.
Finance guru, Money Saving Expert, Martin Lewis, even recently recommended the site on ITV's Good Morning Britain (GMB).
He explained that the reason Everything5Pounds is so cheap is because it buys leftover and excess stock and sell it for a fraction of the price. It's a genius idea: the site snaps up leftover stock thought to be from big retailers including Marks & Spencer, River Island, Oodie, and Karen Millen – then sells it at a whopping discount.
However, it's important to note that the items are often sold unbranded, but frankly, for affordable summer clothes like this that are genuinely stylish and a bargain, we don't care if our purchases are missing a label.
