Kaia Gerber, the 20-year-old daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber, is now a seasoned fashion week pro, having walked the runway for such enormous fashion houses as Max Mara, Fendi and Moschino.

But more than just showcasing modelling talents inherited from her impressive mother, the youngster has also been displaying some impressive acting chops.

She first hit the small screen when she was just a child, playing 13-year-old Carolina in Sister Cities - a TV movie - but since then, she went on to land the role of Ruby in major television series American Horror Story.

And now, Gerber is flexing her on-screen muscles once again, this time in a short film as part of her Calvin Klein #MyCalvins campaign.

Alongside images of an underwear-clad Gerber, lounging on a brown sofa, or against a white wall, the fashion brand has produced a video, starring Gerber at the check-out counter of a gas station.

The film sees the model-turned-actress fretting, with increasing levels of agitation, about whether she should call an old acquaintance.

At the end of a long and frenzied monologue, she abruptly asks the cashier how much he's charging for a pack of gum, and leaves the store.

Calvin Klein signs off the caption to the experimental film, 'The Language of Calvin Klein. Directed by @_rubberband.'

Her Debut Fashion Season

There were many history-defining catwalk moments during SS17 Fashion Month.

A sense of feel-good nostalgia, frivolity and joy graced the runways, thanks to throwback 80s trends - stonewashed denim and shoulder pads - seen at the like of Stella McCartney, Isabel Marant and Givenchy.

And while the season's most iconic show might have been the return of the original Supermodels - with the likes of Carla Bruni, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer storming the runway at Versace in Milan - there was also a clear nod to the future, most notably with the help of Cindy Crawford's daughter, Kaia Gerber.

Kaia Gerber has been dubbed by fashion editors worldwide as the 'baby supermodel' to watch.

This season, the 16-year-old made her catwalk debut, walking for the likes of Saint Laurent, Fendi, Miu Miu, Prada, Moschino and Alexander Wang to name but a few.

With her mother's killer figure, perfectly-sculpted brows, brilliant bone structure and olive-hued skin, Gerber was the sheer embodiment of fashion's wistful affection for the past but also, it's vision of the future.
