This time of year only means one thing: Costa Coffee is getting rid of its festive menu. Sob. However, Costa's done us a solid and introduced 15 new items to its menu for the new year!
We're talking health-kick tea infusions, comforting toasties, retro sweet treats and gorg new plant-based options. So, let’s get to it, shall we?
Starting off with the new brekkie option, there's a Poached Egg & Bacon Brioche (fancy!)
For lunch, you'll be able to order brand-new vegan options, the Me’tball Wrap and BBQ Chick’n Panini as well as two new toasted sandwiches: the Roast Chicken & Bacon Toastie and the Beanz & Cheese Toastie. Not to mention the new Cajun Spiced Chicken Pizza Wrap - now that's a lunch item we can get behind.
For those with a sweet tooth, there's a few retro-sounding treats making an appearance on the new menu, including a Chocolate Cornflake Cake (who remembers those?) and classics like Lemon Drizzle Loaf Cake and Carrot & Walnut Cake.
Caramel fans are in for an absolute treat with the return of the Chocolate & Caramel Muffin made with Rolo and the Chocolate & Salted Caramel Cake. Seriously tasty stuff.
Don't worry, our vegan pals aren't left out of the sweet bonanza with the launch of the vegan Heart Emoji Gingerbread biscuit, Iced Shortcake Biscuit and Chocolate & Caramelised Biscuit Loaf cake.
If that wasn’t enough, there’s even a new range of tea fusions: FuzeTea mellow Mango Superfuzions Tea, complete with mango, chamomile and green tea, and a Spiced Apple flavoured tea fused with apple, cinnamon and green tea. Plus, from 30th January, a refreshing new Fuzetea Citrus Zing tea will launch, with lemon, ginger and green tea.
