Kate Middleton is known for her amazing photography skills and stylish fashion choices, and now it seems she can add being a YouTube sensation to the list.

Kate and her husband, Prince William, launched their joint YouTube channel four weeks ago. Since then, the Duchess of Cambridge has been sharing a series of wholesome telephone calls she’s had with participants from her Hold Still project.

In the most recent clip, shared on Thursday (June 3), Kate speaks with hospital ward host, Gimba. The Duchess praised Gimba for the snap she sent in for the project, which shows her having lunch after preparing meals for all the COVID-19 patients on her ward.

Gimba revealed that on the day of her photo, she’d received news from Nigeria that her mother had taken ill. But, despite the sad news, Gimba declined to take any time off, instead saying; “I have to feed my patients.”

And the clip clearly went down a treat with royal fans, who took to the comments section on Instagram to commend Kate on her work. “Amazing project Kate!” said one, another commented, “Great project!! Congratulations!!” “Wonderful work as always!” a third fan added.

The Duchess of Cambridge partnered with the National Portrait Gallery for the project, Hold Still: A Portrait Of Our Nation in 2020. The book offers a unique insight into life in the UK during lockdown and was released on May 7.
