Netflix's latest hit show The Queen's Gambit has got it all. From the struggle with grief and addiction to the exquisite 1960s set design, this limited series is compulsive viewing. But right at the heart of the story? Chess. Even if you've not had a single ounce of interest in playing a game of chess in your entire life, we guarantee you'll want to after watching this.

The Queen's Gambit follows Beth Harmon (played by the wonderful Anya Taylor-Joy), as she struggles with addiction and the male-dominated chess scene to pursue her passion. Directed by Scott Frank and based on the book of the same name by Walter Tevis, the series is entirely fictional and boasts a very impressive cast. As well as Anya as Beth, there are also a host of other familiar faces you'll spot. Case in point: is that Dudley Dursley from Harry Potter?

Harry Melling, who played Dudley in the Harry Potter franchise, stars in The Queen's Gambit as Harry Beltik, a Kentucky chess champion who is swiftly beaten by Beth. Oh, and is that the little boy from Love Actually who is now all grown up?

Yep, it's Thomas Brodie-Sangster playing Benny Watts, a slightly more high-profile chess player than Harry.

Fans are also living for the show's old school styling. Tbf, Beth certainly gives us serious Chanel vibes...

Also, everybody is in love with Jolene.

Overall, everyone agrees that The Queen's Gambit is simply an absolute must watch.
