Just days after she released a teaser for her fourth album, Adele has made history by simultaneously appearing on the cover of American Vogue and British Vogue.

And it's fair to say, she did it in style. The famously private singer has been treating us to a few *lewks* of late, recently posting a striking photo of herself on Instagram (shot by Raven B. Varona) wearing a high-glamour, off-the-shoulder Schiaparelli gown with a pair of pearl earrings suspended in gold teeth. I mean, you don't get more maximalist than that.

Yesterday (7 October 2021), Adele posted a snap of her latest British Vogue cover to Instagram, and it's really something special. Photographed by Steven Meisel and styled by Edward Enninful, Adele wore a custom-made couture dress by Vivienne Westwood in a shade of warm yellow. The dress was accessorised with a Tiffany & Co brooch in the shape of a flower. Oh and while we're here, we're obsessed with her signature soft curls, which have *all* the volume.

In the second cover photo released by British Vogue, Adele wears a muted-gold, over-the-shoulder Dior gown. And again, *that* hair.

Next up, British Vogue shared a shot of Adele lying on her side, propping herself up with one arm while the other held the heel of one of her Numero Ventuno stilettos. She wore a black corset, top, bra, and skirt by Dolce and Gabbana, which were accessorised with playful polka-dot tights by Falke. She also wore a pair of chunky earrings by David Yurman.

The next post shows Adele looking every inch the '60s beauty icon, as she perches on a stool wearing an ostrich feather coat by Helen Yamark, Giuseppe Zanotti heels, earrings by Suzanne Kalan, and rings by David Yurman.

In the next post, Adele wears a fringed Louis Vuitton dress over a polo neck body by Wolford and tights by Falke. She wears a geometric pair of heels by Maison Valentino.

In the final post shared by British Vogue, Adele wears a sheer, lilac dress by Numero Ventuno and rings by Louis Vuitton, which draw attention to the words 'Angels' and 'Paradise' tattooed on her hands.

For her American Vogue cover, which was photographed by Alasdair Mclellan and styled by Tonne Goodman, Adele wears an emerald gown by Maison Valentino with oversized, puffed sleeves; a cinched waist; and a V neckline.

Next up she wore a Gucci tweed blazer over a Ralph Lauren striped shirt, while another post shows Adele seemingly stood on some sort of crane, with the camera gazing up towards her. She wears a Valentino Haute Couture dress, which covers her hair with an elegant hood and billows out behind her.

Vogue also shared a carousel of Adele with her hair in rollers, wearing an NK Imode pyjama shirt and trousers combo, and Cartier earrings. Basically the loungewear of dreams.

While the latest post shows Adele wearing a blue Balenciaga Haute Couture gown, accessorised with a pair of oversized Jennifer Fisher earrings.

Welcome back Adele, we've missed you.
