October 2018

The Duchess of Cambridge returned to work after five-month maternity leave on October 2. For a trip to Sayers Croft Trust, the royal wore a £175 khaki-hued jacket by Fjällrävennd with a £395 leaf-emblazoned Joseph blouse peeping beneath. The Duchess finished the look with her go-to Penelope Chilvers boots and favourite £135 Monica Vinader earrings to add a punch of colour. [Photo: Getty]

Under the ‘Duchess Effect’, the 36-year-old sparks sale surges for brands and amasses critique by the international fashion press nearly every time she leaves the gates of Kensington Palace.

A long-standing ambassador for British fashion, and unafraid to show off her thrifty side, often repeat-wearing items, the McQueen look surely laid out the Duchess’s style sentiments for year ahead.

Could 2018 be the Duchess’s best year yet? We can’t wait to see…
