Eve Myles 'baffled' famous rock star with her Welsh hike offer
Welsh actress Eve Myles, who is best known for her role as Faith Howells in Keeping Faith, has revealed she asked a famous Hollywood rock star to join her on a Welsh mountain hike. Appearing on The One Show to promote her new drama The Crow Girl Eve admitted she asked Slash, from Guns N' Roses, on a walk up "Snowdon" (Yr Wyddfa).
Chatting to hosts fellow Welsh star Alex Jones and Vernon Kay, Eve explained that Slash was an executive producer for the drama after he fell in love with the book. Eve told the presenters what it was like to meet Slash for the first time.
She said: "I've loved Guns N' Roses from day one and I thought, as long as you breathe and stay calm. I didn't breathe and I stayed not calm and I said ' hi, how are you, how are you?' a couple of times, too many times and then I asked him to climb up the Brecon Beacons with me!

"It wasn't the Brecon Beacons, and I said 'so, you like hiking?' and I went 'do you want to do Snowdon with me? There's a train!' and he was baffled by me." Eve went on to explain that Slash was very nice and kind to all the cast and crew.
In November 2024 Eve was spotted filming a new BBC drama, The Guest, in Cardiff. The Guest is a four-part series described as an "addictive, fast-paced story that centres on the toxic and beguiling relationship between a successful business owner, Fran, and her employee, Ria."
Eve was spotted filming on The Hayes in Cardiff city centre and you can read more, here. For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter.
