Eurovision fans fuming as tickets sell out amid Ticketmaster crash
Many fans were ejected from the lengthy online queue
Eurovision fans are upset as Ticketmaster crashed just minutes before tickets for this year's live show went on sale.
This year's ceremony will take place in Liverpool after the UK was awarded hosting rights after Ukraine were forced to pass up the honour due to the ongoing war with Russia.

Tickets for the final as well as the contest's other live events went on sale at midday via Ticketmaster but some fans complained of being met with an error message while others were booted from the online queue.
Tickets for the grand final on 13 May sold out within minutes and while Eurovision say tickets are still available for other events, many fans online complained about being unable to purchase tickets.
One fan trying to buy tickets said: "Queue didn't work, and when midday passed it chucked me off, logged me out, and it's not worked since." Many others also reported the same issue.

Even Specsavers were making jokes about the technical problems with getting tickets. They tweeted an image of the error message along with the caption: "Most common sight right now."
Most fans' anger was directed at Ticketmaster and the fact tickets quickly became available on third party sites at inflated prices: "When you allow all the scraping software to use a site like ticketmaster, you aren’t giving ordinary fans a chance. Already for sale on viagogo for £11,800 a ticket. Extremely disappointed it wasn’t a ballot to give everyone a fair chance."
Sam Quek also tweeted: "If it makes anyone feel better… I couldn’t get #Eurovision Grand Final tickets…and I’m presenting the Opening Ceremony!"
Richard Osman joked: "Didn't get Eurovision tickets. My only hope now is to sing the U.K. entry."

The Eurovision grand finale will take place on 13 May at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena. The UK have yet to announce their act for the competition.
