Eurovision 2023 will be held in the UK

The Ukraine was triumphant in the 2022 competition, winning first place and traditionally the winner of the competition hosts the following years event. However due to the ongoing invasion by Russia in the country the popular annual European song contest has been confirmed to be staged in the United Kingdom next year following this year’s second place win by the UK’s Sam Ryder, leading to open talks with the show’s organizers and the BBC.
