Ethan Suplee Showed Off His Massive Arms in a Motivational Instagram Flex

Actor Ethan Suplee is dialling back the intensity of his workouts this week, but he's not letting that slow his momentum outside of the gym. On Monday, the American Glutton podcast host, 44, took to Instagram to share an inspiring message with his followers.

"I have always found deload weeks to be miserable, active recovery and all, but really it’s nothing like a real week of effort in the gym. You do get the glory of coming back with incredible strength!" he wrote. "Going to crush this week."

Fans and celebrities were quick to react in the comments with motivational words of their own, including trainer and fitness guru "Body by Jake" Steinfeld, who wrote, "E! Lookin HUGE.. AND CONFIDENT!!! DON’T QUIT!"'

In the photo, Suplee is still looking impressively jacked, flexing his biceps in what appears to be the locker room of his gym. Earlier this year, the My Name Is Earl star broke down his striking 200-pound weight loss transformation at length, which included his struggles with yo-yo dieting and how he finally found a healthy, sustainable eating plan that worked.

In an essay for Men's Health about the experience, Suplee wrote, "The main thing I had to do was make sure I didn’t eat more calories than I expended each day. And guess what? Foods that were nutritious—dark leafy greens, chicken, salmon—also tended to be much lower in calories than, say, a two-patty Super Star."

"As I became more calorie conscious, I started to binge less and fill up on healthier foods," he continued. "After a few months of this, calories stopped being calories. They started being food."

Suplee also revealed his go-to upper body workout, which includes a challenging mix of dumbbell, bench press, and cable movements. At the time, he said his goal was to get to 10 percent body fat, and then pack on as much muscle as possible. Based on the latest photo evidence, he's well on his way.
