Emmerdale star Louisa Clein – aka Maya Stepney – has shared touching photographs of her wedding day as she and her husband celebrate their anniversary.

Louisa, who married Jeremy Brier back in 2011, gave fans a glimpse of their big day on Instagram with a number of candid shots from the ceremony – and even one surprising Strictly celebrity...

"8 years ago today..... happy anniversary to my love #bevismarks," the actress wrote in a post.

Fans were thrilled not only to see a loved-up Louisa and Jeremy in the photos, but a certain Judge Robert Rinder, too. (It's a small world, isn't it?)

Meanwhile in Emmerdale, Louisa Clein's stint as evil schoolteacher Maya Stepney is due to come to an end, with the soap confirming her impending exit last month.

Clein has been at the centre of the soap's hard-hitting grooming storyline over the last year, but Maya's fate will soon be revealed when the court decides her fate next week.

Prior to her stint in Emmerdale, Clein played Kim Whitfield in Holby City and was also a regular on the BBC legal drama Judge John Deed in the early to mid-2000s.

Emmerdale currently airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with extra episodes at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
