‘Emmerdale’ tonight: What's Charity's next move after pregnancy bombshell?
The drama continues for Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) in tonight’s Emmerdale, following the shock revelation that she’s expecting a baby.
The ITV soap, which airs tonight at 7.30pm in an hour long instalment, has already aired one baby bombshell over the past week. Teenager Amelia Spencer’s (Daisy Campbell) secret use of weight gain syrup was exposed after she fainted and dropped the baby son of Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) while caring for him at Home Farm.
At the hospital, Amelia was forced to get checked out; only for the doctor to leave her stunned with the news that she is pregnant.
What followed were moving scenes from star Campbell, as a helpless Amelia attended a clinic to ask for an abortion, but the pressure built when the consultant urged her to talk to a loved one first.

Outside, a nearby Charity saw the distressed girl and offered her support, keeping her own situation quiet as she joined Amelia to talk to the consultant. Charity soon learned how far along Amelia’s pregnancy is, leading her to jump to the conclusion that her son Noah (Jack Downham) is the father. Amelia tried to protest, but found herself too fragile to argue the point.
Later, as her partner Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) arrived home, Charity sent Amelia away. Mack still felt sheepish that Noah has asked him to collect him from prison without his mum, so headed out to pick up a takeaway.
As Charity requested extra pickles with her food, Mack joked that this sounded like a pregnancy craving. But little did he know how right he was as Charity made a call to reschedule her termination. So, as Emmerdale continues, what will she do next?

It’s clear that Charity’s condition is an unplanned consequence of her relationship with Mack; and she wants to deal with it without discussing it with him. But will she really go through with it?
Mother of four Charity has had plenty of reminders of her lacklustre parenting skills. But she’s certainly taken note of that fact recently, with actor Atkins delivering superb material as Charity struggled over Noah’s stalking storyline.

So, with Charity now at a stage where she’s ready to learn from her mistakes, could she have a change of heart? Will she confide in her boyfriend and decide to have the baby after all; or might Mack agree with her stance?
Or will she stick to her first instinct and go through everything alone? We can't reveal what happens, but there are powerful performances ahead.
As for Amelia, who is the father of her unborn child? Could it actually be Noah — and what will she decide to do about her pregnancy?
Tune in to Emmerdale tonight on ITV at 7.30pm to find out.
