Marlon isn’t coping well following his stroke
Marlon’s nearest and dearest will be seen recording a video for him, but Paddy is not coping well and feels that the message he’s recorded for his best mate is inadequate.
Over at the hospital, meanwhile, Marlon himself is meeting with his speech therapist but is currently struggling to form easy words. An upset and disappointed Rhona then pushes Marlon a little too hard and is advised by a nurse not to pile on the pressure. With difficult emotions swirling, Rhona’s mum Mary also can’t help but feel that her daughter is being too hard on herself.

Later on, Marlon accepts Rhona’s apology, but finds himself unable to watch the video that’s been sent to him. In his mind, it’s too upsetting to be reminded of all that he’s lost. But can he be convinced otherwise? And will Paddy ultimately decide to reach out?
Moira has revenge in mind for Charity
Charity is doing her best to get over Mack, with her latest move being some mock flirting with the drayman. But little does she know that Moira has been left fuming after observing her actions.
Later on, when Charity is seen approaching Moira and demanding she speak with Mack, the landlady is left crushed when she’s angrily blamed for his departure.
Pretty soon, Paddy is complicating matters after Vanessa tells him about the near-kiss and he then lets slip to Moira. But Moira is convinced that this was a proper full-on snog and is left seething.
Moira’s next move is to then suddenly suggest to Charity that she drive her to see Mack so that the two of them can talk. And thrilled by the offer, Charity readily accepts but she’s oblivious to the fact that Moira has revenge rather than a reconciliation on her mind. All becomes clear, though, when Charity abandons Moira on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere without either her purse or her phone.
Laurel kisses Jai
Laurel opens up to Bob about the current situation with Jai. And she’s given food for thought when he admits that Brenda ended up forgiving him when he was involved in something similar.
Later on, Laurel has the grim task of meeting Jai at the café to hand over the rest of his things. But she’s privately agonising over whether she’s made the right decision in dumping him. That inner turmoil will then boil to the surface when Laurel gives in to her feelings and kisses Jai. But will she regret her rash move?
Cathy spins a lie
Cathy will be left looking red-faced when she lies and makes out that she’s now in a relationship with fellow teen villager Samson.
But no good ever came from fibbing and, before too long, Samson has – somewhat cruelly – embarrassed Cathy by declaring that he has absolutely no interest in her.
