‘Emmerdale’ tonight: Amelia’s baby secret exposed as Faith takes a turn for the worse
There’s a dramatic time in store for two Emmerdale residents tonight, as Amelia Spencer’s (Daisy Campbell) secrets are exposed while Faith Dingle’s (Sally Dexter) health deteriorates further.
The ITV soap, which airs tonight at 7.30pm in an hour-long instalment, recently saw Amelia find out she was pregnant; while Faith learned that her breast cancer was terminal.
We’ve been kept in the dark over the father of Amelia’s baby, and her dad, Dan (Liam Fox), is still unaware of her condition. Supportive pal Noah (Jack Downham) joined Amelia for her scan this week, and as they spent the whole day together, the smitten pair shared a kiss. But Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) was shocked to spot their embrace.
Meanwhile, Faith spoke to a palliative care nurse about preparing for the end of her life. She was emotional as she worried about the impact on kids Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley). After making a ‘to-do’ list, Faith struggled while on a country walk with Chas.

Faith turned philosophical as she urged her daughter not to make the same mistakes she had, leaving Chas with a lot to think about after cousin Belle’s (Eden Taylor Draper) discovery of her affair with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).
But Faith had her own agenda as she paid a poignant visit to ex-partner and close friend Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell), revealing that she loved him and needed him to know before she passed away. Next, a party was in her sights for the following day.
As Emmerdale continues tonight, Cain is reluctant to attend the celebration, knowing that he’ll find Faith’s last hurrah an upsetting experience. As Faith makes a speech, there’s an awkward atmosphere in the Woolpack — until she starts on the karaoke.

The guests begin to relax, but just as the party is in full swing, Faith collapses. At the hospital, her family are anxiously waiting for news; only for a confused Faith to reveal that she can no longer see properly. Is her life coming to a more rapid end than expected?
As for Amelia, there’s disappointment when she receives less than impressive exam results. Dan and Harriet try to boost her spirits, but Harriet later tells a stunned Dan about Amelia and Noah. When a confrontation ensues, Amelia’s pregnancy is soon known to the village.

Dan will jump to the wrong conclusion as pal Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) has to restrain him from attacking Noah. But who is the real baby daddy?
We can’t spoil that bombshell. But there have been powerful performances from actors Dexter and Campbell in their respective storylines, so expect more to come as the soap airs some tense scenes in an eventful episode.
