Emma Watson Is Timeless in a Sweet Little Black Dress at the Prada Show in Milan
Milan Fashion Week kicked off this week, and stylish stars from around the world have been gathering in the front rows at fashion shows and showing off their street style around the Italian city.
Emma Watson was among them today, when Prada debuted its Spring/Summer 2024 Womenswear collection. The Harry Potter star looked stunning for the occasion, opting for a classic little black dress and matching monochromatic accessories.
The halter dress featured a subtle beige trim, which extended into two delicate ties holding it together at the neck. Watson paired the mini with glossy pointed-toe pumps, a slouchy leather handbag with the house’s iconic logo in the front. She wore soft rosy makeup, black liner, and a powder-pink manicure; her hair was styled in a timeless half-up, half-down style and adorned with a sweet black bow on the back.
The actor and Prada darling appeared in an empowering ad campaign for Prada Beauty last year. The short film shot by photographer Harley Weir for Prada Paradoxe fragrance sees Watson taking on different roles— the director, the narrator, the writer, the Hollywood star.
“Why should I be framed?" Watson asks in the film. "Boxes are always too small. I celebrate my imperfections, I do my days in joy. I'm never the same, but I'm always myself.”
When she's not on the screen, Watson stays mostly away from the bright lights of Hollywood. This month, however, we've been seeing a lot more of her sophisticated style.
She recently walked the carpet at the 2023 Soho House Awards in New York City, for example, and looked lovely in a bohemian-inspired cream crochet dress from Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior Fall 2023 Haute Couture collection.
She was also seen in a black-and-white Prada look while in Milan earlier this week. The outfit was composed of a crisp white dress shirt, a black miniskirt with golden buttons, white slingbacks, and a white handbag.
