Emma Watson has responded perfectly to the awkward Harry Potter Reunion blunder, and now we love her even more. Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts dropped on New Year's Day and fans were taken aback when they spotted a huge blunder that left Twitter going absolutely nuts. Eagle-eyed viewers of the reunion realised that the franchise accidentally used a baby photo of Emma Roberts instead of Emma Watson.

Using a snap of the wrong Emma, the image they used was of Julia Roberts' niece, who doesn't star in the franchise at all, sitting at a table wearing Minnie Mouse ears. The franchise should have used a baby photo of Watson who played Hermione Granger – one of the main characters, but instead got their wires crossed... and fans were quick to cotton on.

HP fans flooded social media with the realisation that the reunion special had used the wrong photo, while questioning why Emma Watson hadn't noticed herself. But on Wednesday night, Emma Watson took to Instagram to acknowledge the blunder, leaving fans freaking out.

Taking to Instagram to clear up any confusion, Emma Watson posted the photo in question and penned a hilarious yet super sweet caption, which read, "I was NOT this cute, @emmaroberts 😂 #emmasistersforever."

Fans were quick to comment on the post, with many happy that she had acknowledged the error that the franchise made. One fan said, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA NOT EMMA ACKNOWLEDGING THE ERROR," while another penned, "That’s ok! We still love you both! 😂♥️."

A third wrote, "FINALLY the queen herself setting the record straight for us once and for all 💀," while a fourth said, "I CANT BELIEVE THEY MADE THAT MISTAKE BAHAHAHA."

Not only did fans respond to Emma's post, but so did Emma Roberts – the actual Emma from the baby photo. Posting Emma Watson's post on her Instagram story, Emma Roberts penned, "Haha! I don't believe that!" in response to the other Emma's quip about not being cute.
