Emma Watson’s Backless LBD and Matching Hair Bow Just Won Milan Fashion Week
We've seen enough! Everyone else can go home.
Just a day after arriving in Milan for the city’s fashion week wearing a far departure from typical travel attire (see: a white button-up, a navy pencil skirt, and sling-back kitten heels), Emma Watson was spotted out yet again in an elevated take on a classic with an LBD.
On Thursday, Watson arrived at Prada’s SS24 ready-to-wear show wearing the head-turning black dress, which featured a backless design, dainty gold hem, razor-thin halter straps, and a mid-thigh length. Styling the sexy Prada number with the preppiest accessories, she added black pointy-toe stilettos, a black leather handbag, and a thin bracelet. Emma wore her shoulder-length brunette hair down in blown-out waves with a deep side part (complete with a half-up tuft compliments of a chic black hair bow), and she rounded out the look by adding a mauve lip and feathered lashes.

In addition to being a fan of the brand, as evidenced by her attendance at the show, Watson serves as the face of Prada’s Paradoxe fragrance. When talking to Harper’s Bazaar Australia last year, the A-lister opened up about how the partnership originally came to be.
“Something that really stuck out to me when I was sent the idea for the fragrance was that Prada is about upstream narratives,” Emma told the publication. “And I instantly thought, ‘Oh my god, that’s me, that’s how I feel. I feel like I’m always running against the current.’”
She continued, “Before Prada came to me with Paradoxe, I bought myself a pair of the future Prada X Raf Simons black combat boots for my 31st birthday. The reason I wanted to own these was because the design was so sexy, beautiful, cool, and goes beyond comfort — it made me feel like I was going to get stuff done. I’m going to take on the world in his boots! Then, a year later, Prada approached me with the fragrance. It was weird. It felt like we were manifesting each other."
