Emma Roberts’ new waterfall ‘bronde’ hair colour *screams* Wild Child’s Poppy Moore

Let's face it, Emma Roberts has good hair embedded in her genes (cc her aunt Julia Roberts), so as far as we're concerned, she can never go wrong. The actress has stuck to a more platinum blonde shade in recent years, so we had to do a double take when we saw her strands looking a bit darker. Although it's not too drastically different, Emma stepped out with a 'bronde' shade and it's really transporting us back to her days playing Poppy Moore in the iconic Wild Child. We can't be the only ones that have re-watched it at least a hundred times... right?

The hair colour itself is the perfect mix of soft brunette and dirty blonde. Just look at it. Talk about a prefect transition.

The ombre effect has an almost waterfall-like quality to it, as the colours blend so seamlessly together. The hair art was created by hairstylist, Ryan Trygstad, and it's going straight into our hairspo folder. It's everything we wanted balayage to be back in 2010.

The darker roots also make for minimal upkeep, as colour will (in theory) fade more gradually and naturally. Smart move, Emma.

The new hair colour was debuted whilst doing press for her new film Maybe I Do, which as you've probably guessed, is another romcom we so desperately need and will most likely be obsessed with. We're not sure it will ever beat Wild Child in our eyes, but we're more than happy to give it a stream (probably many times, let's be honest).
