While the recent Emily Ratajowski and Pete Davidson dating rumours absolutely did come as a shock, we've had some time to digest the we-did-not-see-this-coming information. Earlier this week, the 31-year-old actor and 28-year-old comedian were seen getting cosy on a night out together in New York, and according to Instagram gossip account Deux Moi, the pair were reportedly "holding hands" and "clearly hooking up."
Although there's no confirmation of an official romance, both are newly single, and sources close to the Gone Girl actor told E! News that they've "gone on a few dates", and that "Pete texted Emily wanting to get together to catch up." But amongst the dating speculation, there have also been jokes about it, most notably from iconic singer, Dionne Warwick. And to top it all off, it looks as though EmRata is *absolutely* here for it.
"I will be dating Pete Davidson next," the 81-year-old tweeted, alluding to Davidson's colourful relationship history. ICYMI, the Saturday Night Live alum has been linked to numerous celebs over the years, including Ariana Grande, Kaia Gerber, Bridgerton's Phoebe Dynevor, and most recently, social media mogul and billionaire businesswoman, Kim Kardashian.
Of course, this tweet sent Twitter into a frenzy, and many reacted by photoshopping Pete and Dionne's faces together. EmRata also subtly responded by *liking* the post, which caused fans to lose it even more. Um, iconic behaviour?

The actor has previously gone on record to say she understands why "women find him attractive," though. Appearing on Late Night With Seth Myers back in 2021, she said: "Pete - he's got the height. Guys are like, ‘Wow. What's that guy got?' And I'm like, I mean, he seems super charming."
"He's vulnerable. He's lovely. His fingernail polish is awesome. He looks good! He's great! Good relationship with his mother. We love it," she added.
But whether this budding relationship will flourish into something more serious, we'll just have to wait and see. More Twitter action, please!
