Ok, so we'll be the first to admit we were absolutely obsessed with Emily in Paris when it landed on Netflix back in October. It's got cute friendships, fashion, a love triangle that involves Lucas Bravo, and a brilliant Lily Collins playing the titular role of Emily.

But were we slightly confused when the show got nominated for two Golden Globes over the likes of Michaela Coel's I May Destroy You? In a word, oui. The show scored noms for Best TV Series: Comedy and Lily Collins got a nod for Best Actress, TV Series: Comedy. Meanwhile, I May Destroy You was snubbed from this year's list.

Needless to say, the internet had some thoughts on the matter:

Other major snubs included Minari, Zendaya for Malcolm & Marie, Netflix's Bridgerton, Jurnee Smollett for Lovecraft Country, and Paul Mescal for Normal People.

Meanwhile, the big winners were Mank and The Crown with six nods each. Aaron Sorkin's drama The Trial of the Chicago 7 and Schitt's Creek got five nominations each. And, in a Golden Globes first, three women - Regina King, Chloe Zhao and Emerald Fennell - have been nominated for best director.

The Golden Globes take place on February 28th.
