Emergency services called to two-vehicle crash on North Road

A road closure was in place after two vehicles were involved in a crash on a busy main road.

At around 12pm on Sunday, October 1, two fire engines from Preston and Fulwood attended the scene of an incident on North Road, Preston.

The two-vehicle crash was dealt with by firefighters who used one hose reel and ‘small tools’ to make the scene safe.

A road closure was in place while emergency services managed the incident.

Crews were at the scene for around 20 minutes.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 12pm on the October 1, two fire engines from Preston and Fulwood attended a road traffic collision on North Road, Preston.

“The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters used one hose reel and small tools and worked to make the scene safe.

“Crews were in attendance for twenty minutes.”
