Emergency services attend two-car crash with two people taken to hospital
EMERGENCY services responded to a two-car crash in Poole.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene on the A341 Queen Anne Drive, Merley, shortly after 1pm.
Two people, who were passengers in one of the cars, were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The crash involved a blue Volkswagen Up and a blue Vauxhall Crossland. Bus services were diverted while emergency services dealt with the incident.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "We received a call at 1.05pm on Saturday, April 1, from a witness who stated there had been a two vehicle road traffic collision in Queen Anne Drive.
"Police, fire and ambulance attended. Two elderly passengers of one vehicle have been taken to hospital as a precaition.
"Two vehicles have been recovered and the road was open at of 3.13pm."
