Actress Elle Fanning garnered almost as much attention as leading lady Kristen Stewart at the Twilight premiere last night.

The 14-year-old star stepped out at The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere in LA wearing head-to-toe Prada - packing a real statement with her footwear.

Hitting the red carpet in support of her older sister Dakota Fanning - who stars in the film - Elle debuted the fashion house's bizarre new platform sandals that are dividing style opinion.

Emerging in a baby-pink, satin tiered shift and wrap skirt, the young star let the bold shoes do all the talking as she mingled with the likes of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson at the event.

The Geisha-inspired sandals - which feature bow appliques, silver ankle clasps and a chunky, three-tiered sole - had Elle towering above her co-stars on the night.

The look was of stark contrast to sister Dakota, 18, who opted for a vampish, glam teal gown from Elie Saab's AW 2012 couture collection.

The actress, who plays Volturi vampire Jane in the franchise, teamed her look with newly-dyed brunette locks and a flash of red lipstick.
