Ella Emhoff makes her catwalk debut during NYFW

Ella Emhoff, the stepdaughter of First Lady Kamala Harris, today made her catwalk debut, walking for Proenza Schouler on the final day of New York Fashion Week.

The fashion student, who was recently signed by IMG Models, posed in a series of looks, appearing in both a film and lookbook created for the new season. Emhoff can be seen wearing a black tailored suit, a top-to-toe grey ensemble and a very on-trend leather coat in the footage.

Emhoff made a big splash on Twitter during the inauguration when she stepped out in an embellished Miu Miu coat, which quickly becoming one of the most talked-about fashion moments of the day.

She was very quickly signed up by IMG Models, which announced that it would be looking after all of her fashion opportunities and brand endorsements, which already look to be coming in thick and fast. The youngster is also currently studying for her degree in textiles at Parsons School of Design so her future in fashion looks extremely promising indeed.
