Elizabeth Olsen Pays Tribute To Sisters Mary-Kate And Ashley On Emmys Red Carpet
Elizabeth Olsen has given a nod to her twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen yet again, paying them a sweet yet oh so subtle tribute at the 2021 Primetime Emmy Awards.
On Sunday, the actor attended the awards ceremony following her nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series or Movie for her role as Wanda Maximoff (aka Scarlet Witch) in Marvel Studios’ WandaVision.
Before the night kicked off with a fashionable bang, Olsen took to the red carpet in a stunning V-neck ivory-hued dress from her older sisters’ fashion brand, The Row. The sisters founded the luxury fashion label in 2006, with designs regularly worn by the likes of Zoë Kravitz, Sienna Miller and Margot Robbie.
Olsen, who is believed to have recently married her partner Robbie Arnett, wore the floor-length gown with silver jewellery, consisting of dangly earrings and numerous rings.
The 32-year-old styled her short bob into a side parting with loose curls and wore a soft deep rose-coloured lipstick.
The actor has regularly spoken of her admiration for her sisters’ fashion choices over the years, so it’s no wonder she turned to The Row ahead of the Emmys.
Earlier this year the star spoke of her siblings’ style during an interview with SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show.
'Everything my sisters have ever worn in my entire life I have wanted to wear still as an adult today,' the star said. 'I want their coats. I want their shoes. I want their dresses. And that is something that I never grew out of.'
Growing up, Olsen admitted she took to thrifting to carve out her own sense of style.
'I myself was just going through every secondhand store and wearing all of the things,' she said. 'Except mine became more like Annie Hall-y, but it was all just like a lot of clothes that I didn’t even wash them after I got them. I just wore them.'
During a recent interview with Glamour UK, Olsen also spoke about the way her famous siblings have navigated fame.
'They showed me that you can be private, but also accessible to journalists, for those reasons,’ she told the publication. ‘It's helpful that I learnt my value system from them.'
The actors have three other siblings including Taylor, Trent and Jake Olsen.
