Edward and Bella's honeymoon house from Twilight is now available to rent
Edward Cullen and Bella Swan's fictional honeymoon house from Twilight is now available as a holiday rental via HomeAway.
Located off-the-beaten-track in Paraty, Brazil, this breathtaking six-bedroom property has eight bathrooms, light-filled spacious rooms, traditional wooden decor, skylights, banana trees, handmade floor tiles, and unparalleled views of the glimmering ocean.
The home appeared in Twilight: Breaking Dawn — Part One as Edward and Bella's honeymoon home on the Isle of Esme — a fictional island which was in fact filmed in Brazil. In the clip from the film, we see the newlyweds play cards on the beach together, swim in the sea, and relax in the beautiful setting.
Designed by Brazilian architects, Bernardes, the traditional home is completely secluded and only accessible via boat or helicopter. Like a real slice of paradise, it sits between two hills and is in a small bay — perfect if you are on the hunt for somewhere private to stay.
The owners explain: 'Enjoy this spectacular house were Twilight was filmed. Edward and Bella venture to Brazil to honeymoon on the isle of Esme, which doesn't actually exist. Where they actually went was Paraty, Brazil — a colonial town and blossoming vacation retreat halfway in between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Specifically, they went to a beachfront house in Saco do Mamanguá, a tropical fjord, which even you too can enjoy.'
'Like a traditional Brazilian fishing hut, the home is framed by eucalyptus posts and beams that gives it the feel of a tree house.'
Tempted to take a visit? You can book your stay via HomeAway. There is a minimum stay of three nights. Prices average around £2,464 a night. We're certain Twilight fans will love it here...
