EastEnders has aired a harrowing double bill for Suki Panesar as she fought for her life against Ranveer Gulati.

Two episodes of the soap aired on Tuesday night (August 9), with an overarching focus on Suki's financial troubles, landing her in serious danger with Ranveer.

Suki was facing enemies on all sides, as Kheerat had to hold back Phil Mitchell from attacking her in the Vic once he found out she'd left Ben Mitchell for dead.

Prior to this, Suki had manipulated Sharon Watts into loaning her money for the Minute Mart lease, but Sharon took back that offer once she found out what happened with Ben.

With no other prospects, Suki agreed to meet with Ranveer. While he once again tried to make sexual advances, Suki wanted him to sign a contract giving her control over his business in Mumbai.

"I go to bed with you, you sign the contract," Suki said, and he replied: "Yeah."

This is when Suki turned the tables, as she revealed she'd recorded their whole conversation with a hidden camera.

"I've got all the proof I need," she told him. "You're on camera, Ranveer. I recorded everything."

Ranveer then turned threatening, as he locked the door and vowed he wasn't "going anywhere". At the exact moment Ranveer was trying to force himself on Suki, Eve met his son Ravi at the pub.

Ravi was looking for his dad, so Eve pointed him in the direction of the Panesar home. Meanwhile, Suki was fighting for her life. She tried leaving Kheerat a desperate voicemail, but Ranveer attacked her.

Suki desperately knocked Ranveer over the head with an object, leaving her to worry she'd killed him as the episode closed. The storyline continues throughout the week as Ravi takes a shockingly decisive role in covering up Ranveer's death…
