EastEnders' Rocky to take drastic action ahead of exit story
EastEnders spoilers follow.
Rocky Cotton will be forced to take drastic action ahead of his exit story in EastEnders.
It has been a rough few months for Rocky, as his ex-wife Jo is currently blackmailing him over potential bigamy claims because he didn't finalise his divorce before marrying his new wife Kathy.
To make things worse, Rocky and Kathy were kicked out of their home when Ian Beale returned to Walford and decided to move in with his sons and partner Cindy.
In upcoming scenes, Rocky tries to woo Kathy to take both of their minds off having to live in Sonia's guest room until they can get back on their feet.
Rocky comes up with a romantic idea by setting up a picnic at the car lot, only for Kathy to get angry at him for spending money they don't have.
In the aftermath of his wife's rejection, Rocky decides he'll have to take drastic action to get his life back on track.
These scenes will be airing next week on BBC One.
This storyline will precede Rocky's exit from the soap, as cast member Brian Conley has confirmed that he will leave EastEnders later in the year.
Conley subsequently denied reports of tension with EastEnders bosses, telling his social media followers: "I didn't clash with anyone. I didn't have a rant. But they'll probably report on this now that I'm ranting about ranting! But I'm not ranting!
"I have gone with their blessings at the Beeb and I'm excited about the future and where it's going to go. And I'm also excited about Rocky's exit because I know it's good. So I'm sending you much love — all EastEnders fans."
Conley has already lined up two new gigs: a national music and comedy tour and a return to the panto stage in December.
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
