The usual soaps schedule during the week is EastEnders airing on BBC One at 7.30pm Monday to Thursday, while Emmerdale airs Monday to Friday at 7.30pm on ITV and Coronation Street is Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV.

During both the men's and women's Euros over the last two summers, soaps were released in weekly blocks on streaming services iPlayer and ITV Hub (ITVX as of this autumn), which is expected to happen again during the 2022 World Cup.

Soap fans will have the chance to watch episodes at their leisure as they are released on streaming services, but look out for updates from the shows each week on when they will drop.

EastEnders fans can tune into episodes on BBC Two on days when BBC One is broadcasting World Cup matches.

ITV has confirmed that Emmerdale and Coronation Street episodes will be released in weekly blocks each Monday morning, so if you can't keep up with the ever-changing schedule, catch up by streaming them instead.
