Especially if you follow our easy steps on how to make cheese sauce.
Ingredients:
100g butter
65g plain flour
1 litre whole milk
600g of grated cheese (a mix of the likes of Cheddar, Gruyere, Parmesan or Red Leicester always works well)
Method:
In a large saucepan, melt the butter. Sprinkle over the flour and cook until slightly golden, which should take about 2 to 3 minutes.
Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously until combined. Season with salt and pepper then leave to simmer gently until it’s starting to thicken. This should take around 5 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from heat and whisk in your grated cheese. Continue whisking until all the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

25g butter
1 tbsp plain flour
150ml whole milk
50g blue cheese (like stilton), crumbled
Now all you have to do is decide what to do with your delicious cheese sauce. The world is your oyster!
