How easy was it to use?
So easy. I loved the menu that arrived before each delivery, it was something to get excited about but it also allowed me to plan out my days and work in meals around my schedule easily. The ordering system was simple and the delivery was reliable and the packaging was slick. Great.
Did you enjoy the food?
I really did. The portion sizes were spot on, I’m not a bodybuilder so I just wanted healthy food that could support a normal life of training – this was that. I had four meals a day and it was great that one of those was always a vegan option that was lighter in the middle of the day.
The meals were varied, creative and the sauces, especially the Asian ones, were incredible. In particular, I really enjoyed the beef – something that is often hard to get right in meal delivery – it was delicious. And, well, the sweet potato pancakes are my new favourite thing.
How did it fit into your training?
It was ideal. My training has been balanced since I’ve been spending more time working out at home. It normally focuses on bodyweight and mobility, with a bit of dumbbell work in the park, too. I had all the fuel in each meal that I needed to train hard but then to recover, too.
Crucially, I haven’t been out as much during COVID and so my step count dropped from 20K to 8K and I needed to keep my calories in check. This plan made that easy. I also loved the convenient packaging and would always take one meal out with me to eat on the go around my park workouts.
