Prince Harry calls Prince William his "archnemesis" and "beloved brother"
The revelations from the Duke of Sussex's tell-all memoir Spare just keep coming—and the book doesn't even debut for five more days.
In a teaser for Prince Harry's interview on Good Morning America with Michael Strahan, Strahan says Harry writes that Prince William is both his "beloved brother" and "archnemesis" in his memoir. "Strong words," Strahan says, "what did you mean by that?"
Harry replies, "There has always been this competition between us, weirdly. I think it really plays into, or was played by, the 'heir/spare.'"

Strahan says this book is about a "lot more" than just Harry's relationship with William; he "covers so much," including his grief, time in the military, and his role as a husband and a father.
In a leaked extract of Spare published by The Guardian, Harry accuses William of assault. Harry says William called Meghan "difficult," "rude," and "abrasive," and then the confrontation escalated.
"He set down the water, called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast," Harry writes, "So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out."
Prince Harry's interview on Good Morning America airs on 9 January, the day before the publication of Spare. It will be his third interview promoting the memoir; sit-downs on 60 Minutes and with ITV are set to air this Sunday.
