The Duke and Duchess of Sussex yesterday shared a sweet message for their nephew, Prince Louis on his first birthday.

On Monday night, Kensington Palace shared three new photographs of the young royal in celebration of turning one, which were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge at their home in Norfolk. And, in the comments section, eagle-eyed royal fans spotted a very sweet message for Louis from his uncle and aunt.

"Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us xo," the message read, with a cake and a balloon emoji.

Last month, Harry and Meghan officially split royal households and Instagram accounts from the Cambridge family, as they moved away from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor ahead of the birth of their first child.

The couple have been taking a slightly less formal approach to their social media than William and Kate tend to have on the Kensington Palace account. The Sussex duo have been posting quite personal messages, which many royal experts believe are being written by Meghan, rather than by a social media team, due to the presence of Americanisms in the posts. And this sweet comment to their nephew certainly appears to confirm that the couple are behind the account.
