The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced some very exciting news this week.
The couple revealed they have teamed up with Spotify to launch their first-ever podcast, Archewell Audio, which they will produce and host as a pair.
In the trailer for the podcast series, which is now available to listen to on Spotify, the couple shared the name of their podcast and gave listeners a taste of what's to come.
At the beginning of the trailer, Harry and Meghan introduce themselves before explaining more about their podcast project.
"One of the things my husband and I have always talked about is our passion for meeting people and hearing their stories. And no matter what the story, they usually offer you an understanding of where someone else is coming from, and at the same time remind you in some way of a story about yourself," Meghan explains in the trailer.
Harry adds: "And that's what this project is all about, to bring forward different perspectives and voices that perhaps you haven't heard before, and find our common ground. Because when that happens, change really is possible."
The pair then went on to reveal their first episode of the podcast will be a holiday special, speaking with some incredible people and focusing on the moments that have shaped their year.
"So many people have been through so much pain this year, experiencing loss and a huge amount of uncertainty. But it feels worth acknowledging that 2020 has connected us in ways we could have never imagined through endless acts of compassion and kindness," Harry says in the trailer.
The trailer ends with the couple telling fans they'll be back soon with the special episode. Before the audio cuts out, Meghan can be heard saying, "Oh he's got a podcast voice!" about her husband Harry as he repeats the name of their podcast.
You can now follow the Archewell Audio podcast on Spotify for updates when the couple shares a new episode.
