On Tuesday one of our favourite TV duos joined one of our favourite royals for an event hosted by the Forward Trust.
The Duchess of Cambridge joined Ant and Dec for the engagement at the BAFTA headquarters in Piccadilly, where the Take Action on Addiction charity campaign was launched.
The event, held for drug and alcohol dependence charity the Forward Trust, was hosted by Ant and Dec and saw the Duchess deliver a landmark speech in which she said "anyone" can become an addict and called for greater understanding of those battling addiction.
Addiction is not a choice. No one chooses to become an addict, but it can happen to any one of us. None of us are immune.#TakingActiononAddiction @ForwardTrust pic.twitter.com/CkTf4mjrAQ

And, as is her usual way, the royal did it all while looking radiant in a bold scarlet ensemble, made up of a pleated scarlet midi skirt and a matching fitted polo-neck.
The duchess paired the block-colour outfit with a pair of Ralph Lauren pointed toe shoes and a micro-handbag from DeMellier.
The bag, priced at £295 and still available in various colourways - including the duchess' own - is an upmarket, elegant way of up-scaling any outfit.
The Duchess was first seen with the bag in May 2021 for the Hold Still exhibition. It promptly sold out after its royal debut, so if you want to add it to your handbag repertoire you may want to act quickly.
