Duchess of Cambridge steps out in green for St Patrick's Day parade
It’s hardly surprising that Kate Middleton opted for green today.
Complete with green suede court shoes, the Duchess has gone to visit the St Patrick’s Day parade in what might be her most gorgeous green ensemble yet.
Middleton has opted for an emerald green tailored coat with contrast sleeves, collar and pockets along with gold buttons.
And to finish the look, an elegant fascinator of the same shade and bright green earrings.
She spent the morning meeting the 1st Battalion Irish Guards, including their Irish Woolfhound mascot, as both she and the Duke of Cambridge presented them with sprigs of shamrock.

She and her husband also had the chance to chat properly with the Irish Guards and their families including Katie, the seven-year-old daughter of the Colour Sergeant Darren Lorimer of The Irish Guards regiment, who presented Middleton with a posy.
It’ll be a busy weekend for the pair, who are next spending two days in Paris.
The trip will be their first official visit to French capital, and Kensington Palace’s Twitter account tweeted yesterday that “their Royal Highnesses are very much looking forward to the visit”.
