The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed that she loves to shop at Bicester Village, the designer outlet complex in Oxfordshire.

Speaking to Sadiah Bte Shahal at Changi Airport on the first day of her and the Duke of Cambridge's nine-day tour of the Far East, the Duchess said she "loved" the discount shopping destination as "everything is so contained."

It's not the first time she's been linked to Bicester, back in March it was revealed that she had bought a blue coat dress from the Missoni outlet shop in the village, as well as a scarf. "Kate bought the dress here," an assistant at the store told Grazia . "We were all surprised to see her and it was great to see her wearing it alongside the Queen and Duchess of Cornwall."

The Duchess is well known to love a bargain and regularly wears outfits more than once, leading her to be labelled thrifty - despite the fact that she has reportedly spent upwards £35,000 on her wardrobe this year alone. In February she wore a coat dress by now-defunct high-street label Jesiré, which she had purchased from second-hand shop The Stock Exchange near her parent's home in the picturesque Berkshire village of Bucklebury.

Bicester Village is home to over 130 'outlet boutiques', including brands such as Céline, Dior, Alexander McQueen, Prada and Mulberry, all of which sell past-season and end-of-line pieces with discounts of up to 60 per cent.
