Whenever the Duchess of Cambridge wears something from the high street, it's almost guaranteed to sell out.

So, we were hardly surprised when the stylish Boden cardigan Kate chose for a video call engagement last November promptly flew off the shelves after she wore it to chat to one of the finalists of her Hold Still photography competition.

Unexpectedly, the piece proved so popular that Boden then brought it back into stock in February.

And, now, in excellent news for those of us who were tempted to invest but didn't take the plunge earlier this year, the high street brand has just added Kate's cardigan to its summer sale, for an amazing 50% off.

Usually £75, it has now been reduced to just £37.50, so you can bet we'll be racing to the checkout. Best of all, it's still available on the website in all sizes at the time of writing.

Thanks to its on-trend scalloped detailing and timeless baby blue hue, Kate's Abercorn Scallop Cardigan is both contemporary and classic, making it a versatile addition to your year-round capsule wardrobe. It's also available in a further four colours, including grey and navy.
