Her piano recital broke royal records on Instagram, with a clip of the moment becoming the most viewed royal video to date on the platform, racking up over 11 million views on the Cambridges' Instagram account. Impressive.
Royal fans headed to the comments section to share their appreciation for Kate's musical talents. "That was so beautiful Catherine ❤️ a perfect performance," said one happy fan, with another commenting: "So talented in so many ways!!!"
The Duchess accompanied singer Tom Walker during his performance at the special Together at Christmas community carol service which was broadcast on ITV on Christmas Eve. The one-off event was hosted by Kate and featured a reading from Prince William, as well as a number of special performances and appearances from guests including Ellie Goulding and Kate Garraway.
The Royal Family usually spend Christmas Day with the Queen at her Sandringham Estate. For 2021, however, the Christmas invite list at Sandringham looked a little different, with the Queen scrapping her plans to spend Christmas there due to the pandemic and the increasing number of cases.
Instead, she stayed at her home in Windsor Castle and enjoyed a video call from the Cambridges, who celebrated at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
