The Peter Pan collar has emerged as one of the standout trends of the autumn/winter 2020 season and is now one which the Duchess of Cambridge has embraced.

The royal – who was making a virtual appearance to speak directly with families of those in the British Armed Forces to honour Remembrance Week – wore a silk button-up blouse with a statement black Peter Pan collar, accessorised with a red poppy to mark Remembrance Day.

Peter Pan collars have been enjoying something of a resurgence of late thanks to the catwalks of Prada, Miu Miu, Ganni, Simone Rocha and more (which you can shop here).

Kate's blouse is from high-street label Ghost and has, unsurprisingly, now sold out, however, the British brand carries a number of dresses and tops with the statement feature if you want to snap up the trend.

During the appearance, the duchess spoke to Armed Forces families who have lost loved ones to hear about the impact that Remembrance Week has for them, where they also discussed the support that they receive from the Royal British Legion.
