We love it when the Duchess of Cambridge wears a high street piece, so imagine our delight when we heard that the royal stepped out in a John Lewis & Partners cashmere jumper on Wednesday (12 February).
The brand has confirmed to Good Housekeeping that Kate wore its Pure Collection Roll Neck Cashmere Sweater in the light blue Heather Cornflower colour for two surprise appearances to promote her '5 Big Questions' survey on early child development.
First up, the 38-year-old visited The Ark Open Farm in Newtownards, Northern Ireland, where she chatted to local parents and children before meeting the farm animals, including an alpaca and a snake.
The Duchess then changed her look slightly for her second visit of the day to the Social Bite cafe in Aberdeen, where she again chatted to local parents and youngsters – Kate removed the khaki Barbour jacket she wore to the farm and swapped it for a light blue tailored coat, which worked perfectly with her John Lewis jumper.
The £125 roll-neck is an online exclusive for the brand, which is 100% pure cashmere and promises a "super soft" feel. It's the sort of jumper everyone needs in their winter wardrobe, perfect for pairing with everything from simple jeans like Kate to skirts and even dresses.
It's also a stunning shade of light blue, which fits in with this spring's big pastels trend.

Unsurprisingly, the cashmere knit is currently sold out online, however a John Lewis spokesperson revealed to us that it may come back into stock soon, so watch this space.
In the meantime, the jumper is still available to buy in two further colours, Bright Magenta and Blackberry.
