The Duchess of Cambridge stunned in a bold purple suit during a Northern Ireland visit

The Duchess of Cambridge looked stunning in a bold purple, two-piece suit during a visit to Northern Ireland today (29 September).

The Duchess wore tailored suit trousers and a double breasted suit jacket in a coordinating purple by Emilia Wickstead. She wore paired the suit with a black turtle neck top and accessorised the look with a simple black clutch bag and textured, waved pony tail.

The Duchess joined Prince William for a tour of Ulster University Magee Campus in Northern Ireland.

During their tour, the royal couple met with medical students and sampled locally made food and drinks, including a glass of Guinness.

The couple tweeted that it was “lovely to see @UlsterUni students reunited with each other on campus” and another post explained that the couple were able to meet up with some earlier acquaintances.

“Earlier this year, The Duke and Duchess heard from Year 3 nursing students — today they met some of them in person and heard how their studies have progressed since they last spoke in February.”

Continuing their tour of Northern Ireland, Will and Kate attended the City of Derry Rugby Club to meet the players and join in on the practice.

Kate changed into an all-black sportwear ensemble to get stuck in with the activities and the pair also cheered the team on from the sidelines.

On the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official Instagram story and Twitter account, the was even a photograph of Kate holding an expected visitor.

Prince William looked slightly less sure about the encounter, as the Duchess held a live tarantula in her hand, although he did hold a snake during the visit.

Just last night (28 September), the couple joined Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall for the world premiere of James Bond's No Time to Die. Kate looked stunning in a gold dress as the royals met with the cast of the much anticipated film.
