Duchess of Cambridge is pretty in pink Gucci dress at gala dinner
Just days after Kate wowed at the BAFTA awards in a white Alexander McQueen gown, the Duchess of Cambridge has done it again at a gala dinner.
The 37-year-old looked stunning as she arrived at the 100 Women in Finance Gala Dinner in support of ‘Mentally Healthy Schools’ wearing a pink chiffon dress by Gucci.
Despite the chilly weather in London, Kate decided to go without a coat for the occasion, matching the eye-catching off-shoulder gown with a burgundy sash and matching Prada clutch bag.
But it was the Duchess’ glittering Oscar de la Renta pumps we couldn’t stop staring at, which appeared to be adorned with hundreds of tiny jewels.
Mentally Healthy Schools is one of the legacy programmes from the Heads Together campaign, which aims to help people of all ages start conversations about their mental health.
Kate is a strong champion of the programme, alongside her husband, Prince William and brother-in-law, Prince Harry.
Earlier in the day, the mum-of-three attended The Royal Foundation’s ‘Mental Health in Education’ conference at Mercers’ Hall in London.
She joined a meeting with teachers and specialists from the sector to further discuss the potential impact of consistent mental health teacher training, as well as the challenges facing its implementation.
The Duchess shared her own experiences of motherhood during the discussion: “When I first started out and I’ve learnt a lot in a short period of time working with organisations, I was very naive myself as a parent, of really just how important particularly the early years are for children’s futures.
“And how critical it is, everyone looking after children at a critical time, teachers, parents, and everyone who’s caring for them, how important it is that we get it right.”
The event was hosted by BBC presenter Kate Silverton, who welcomed the Duchess: “As you will know [she] has been a great driving force behind the Royal Foundation’s work supporting children in their earliest years.
