The Duchess of Cambridge looks amazing in red as she decorates Christmas tree

The Duchess of Cambridge stunned in red as she decorated the Christmas tree at Westminster Abbey.

Kate was all smiles as she put up decorations within the historic building. Taking to social media to talk about the experience, she said: "I’m so excited to be hosting Together at Christmas here at Westminster Abbey, a place that’s really special to William and me."

The Duchess looked radiant and festive in a red jumper. She can be seen decorating the tree with co-ordinating red ribbons.

Kate has been spending time at Westminster Abbey due to the carol concert she has organised at the location. The service itself, aptly named Together at Christmas, took place on 8 December and will be broadcast on ITV at 7.30pm on Christmas Eve. It will comprise of carols and festivities, with both The Duke and The Duchess already sharing some of the inspiring stories of attendees.

Speaking of the service and the inspiring people who attended it, Kate said: "We wanted to say a huge thank you to all those amazing people out there who have supported their communities. We also wanted to recognise those whose struggles perhaps have been less visible too.Tune in to @ITV at 7:30pm on Christmas Eve to see this special event."
