And last night, the Duchess of Cambridge proved that she has similar fashion taste to the Canadian actress.
Kate attended a gala at Kensington Palace in support of the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families (AFNCCF) in a rather familiar black lace dress.
Markle was in fact first to don the look, as she donned Diane Von Furtsenberg’s ‘Zarita’ dress for a red carpet event back in 2012. Though unlike the royal, the 36-year-old opted for a shorter style in a navy hue.
Never one to be afraid of recycling looks, it’s not the first time the Duchess of Cambridge has donned the dress, as she was first photographed in the gown three years ago while pregnant with Princess Charlotte.
The gala dinner marks one of just a handful of events Kate has attended in recent months, as a consequence to hyperemesis gravidarum (a severe form of morning sickness).
The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to give birth in April.
