Any fashion star worth their salt knows that trends come and go in a sort of cycle, and it's no secret that Dua Lipa draws style inspo from the 90s and 00s. From her Lizzie McGuire-esque 'fits to that NSFW thong dress, Dua sure loves a throwback and her latest look is a subtle nod to minimalist icon, Posh Spice (AKA Victoria Beckham).

Dua just shared a series of snaps on Instagram with the caption "a photo dump consisting of mainly mirror selfies and pizza" which, in addition to cute dog pics, is basically our entire camera roll summed up.

The first pic shows Dua wearing an all-black look consisting of a fitted black crop top, teamed with a pair of high-waisted black trousers, platform heels featuring chunky gold hardware detailing and boxy shades.

Dua finishes the ensemble with a sleek blow out, with the lengths flipped over her shoulder, giving the impression of a mini bob from the front, making for a very retro vibe.

A bit of deep diving and, sure enough, VB wore a super similar 'fit in the late '90s for a Spice Girls performance:

While the looks are undeniably similar, unlike Dua, Victoria went for a spaghetti strap top with a square neckline.

After a bit more scrolling on Dua's feed, it looks like the black crop top and trouser combo is a fave for the singer this season. Here she is wearing a monochrome athleisure Puma style, coupled with a pair of black heels, which feels somewhere between Posh and Sporty Spice's signature lewks:
